☂ ☁ Greek God ☁ ☂
Poseidon
☂ ☁ Innate Ability ☁ ☂
Water manipulation - mostly just small things, like swimming faster and moving small amounts of water. If he wants to move more it moves slowly; he can also freeze it, but it's useless because putting water in the freezer would freeze it way faster.

☂ ☁ Personality ☁ ☂
Sammie is the last person you would expect to be self-conscious, but if you actually know him he's actually an awkward kid. Normally, he's smooth and does bold things without hesitating, but in reality he's terrified of meeting new people and hates being in the spotlight. Somehow, though, Sammie just can't stop himself from doing eye-catching things. Due to the way he was raised, Sammie has always strongly thought he should be the way he wants, always. So acting oddly is in his nature - but so is being nervous. He is very often anxious and often holds back because of this. However, because he's always so uneasy, Sammie also has a strong sense of justice and strives to make other people feel comfortable.
If you ask anyone about Sammie, they'd probably tell you he might as well be dubbed a knight in shining armour. He's always out to help people whenever they seem awkward. He strongly dislikes rude people and often actively trashes anyone that bullies other people. Sammie enjoys learning about other's interests and likes it even more when people tell him about things they like in great detail. He's a natural born listener, always ready and waiting. He, however, hates talking about himself
Whenever Sammie talks about himself, he feels like he's opening up too much. Fearful of what people might think once they find "the real Sammie", he persistently hides himself from the outside world. Much of Sammie is barred within his mind and is rarely seen by anyone but his closest friends. He refrains from giving honest opinions most of the time unless you manage to drag it out of him, so it's unlikely most people actually know what he's really like. This may prove problematic due to the fact that Sammie is very friendly and gets close to people rather quickly; his friendships are often one-sided, which some people find irritating. Which is probably the worst thing in the world to Sammie, who's a definite people-pleaser…
Of course, until you get to the part of Sammie that just really hates people. Deep down, he thinks people are liars and can't trust anyone enough to let them close. He shuts off his feelings and analyzes things he finds difficult with a cold eye. Although he is often a very kind person, he also has harsh standards and questionable morals. Sammie doesn't flinch in the face of cruelty and may even take part; he doesn't have a very good sense of mortality and easily dehumanizes people. Once you're not on his good side, don't be surprised if he talks smack about you or just tells you what he thinks to your face.

☂ ☁ Personal History ☁ ☂
Sammie was found in a park by a passer-by couple. They did what anyone else would: try to find his parents. After the police couldn't find anyone missing a baby with mint eyes, they sent him into foster care to wait until he was adopted. Sammie was a fairly quiet baby and slept all day, usually not crying and just sitting there. He was often left alone because he wasn't very demanding, so no one ever worried he might cry if left alone. Due to the fact that the children were usually in-and-out, Sammie didn't really have a very good chance to form bonds with anyone. There was no "mommy" or "daddy" - but there was "Susan" and "Jan" and "Paul" and "Betty" and every sunday there was "David". Everyone was always leaving the room; by the time Sammie was five, he liked this.
Whenever one of these people, always a different one, left the room, Sammie would draw and play and just have a good time on his own. But once they came back into the room, it was time to sit quietly and do whatever they told you to. Sometimes Sammie had to talk to possible parents; sometimes he had to play with another child. He didn't like playing with other people at all, as their ideas were alien and drab. At ten, Sammie had enough ground to know he just didn't like people, although he socialized anyway. it wasn't that Sammie didn't like people in the antisocial way - it was that he didn't match with the way other people thought, so it was awkward. He was doing fine in school - though he could do better - and was usually allowed to go places with friends. A dyed his hair to go with his eyes three times until he was prohibited from going places with his friends.
As a young teenager, Sammie was trouble. He threw rocks at windows and got into spits at school all the time. He was a magnet for other troubled kids that took their anger out on the world. He disappeared whenever he wanted and stayed too long at his friend's homes, though they never seemed to mind. Sammie dyed his hair in mall bathrooms; spray-painted the sides of buildings; punched people in the mouth for bumping into him.
Altogether, Sammie was just… a thug, maybe? He definitely didn't fit well in any category. He didn't ever actually hurt anyone badly; he didn't cat-call; he didn't embarrass anyone; he was never a real bully. But he broke windows and got into fights and snuck out of the house. Sammie just never fit in, anywhere. Even the oddballs didn't fit with him; they were too lax, too weird. The usual kids were too normal and plain. When he walked past, the world stared. He pretended to not care, but there was always something - a pang? - when he herd people talking about meeting "someone like them". Sammie would never find that. He would never just be able to say something and have someone just understand, or just be okay with not really understanding.
Sammie couldn't breath without the world staring.
